Experimental Research on Compression Refrigerators Using a Non-Azeotropic Mixture of Freon-12 and Freon-21. Experimental Research in Heat Exchange during Condensation of Freon-13 in a Horizontal Tube,

Abstract

Air-cooled condensers are far more efficient in refrigeration equipment than water cooled condensers. Five charts list data about use of a Freon-12 and Freon-21 mixture. Peculiarities of heat transfer during condensation of Freon-13 and determination of experimental values of the heat transfer coefficient, when Freon-13 is used in cascade units, are discussed.
