Method of Elastic Solutions in the Theory of Plasticity,

Abstract

The author defines and contrasts two different methods for arriving at elastic solutions in the theory of plasticity. One method has been put forth as a means of solving problems in the theory of flow when deformation of an element of the body is complex. The other method, which is similar, has been applied to elastic solutions in the theory of small elastic-plastic deformation. (Modified author abstract)
