Carrier and Bit Synchronization Methods for PSK Systems

Abstract

The report provides an overview of the basic carrier and bit synchronization methods available for PSK systems. The report is intended also to serve as a tutorial introduction to the synchronization problem. It is written for the engineer familiar with the operation of a linear phase-locked loop.
