Optimal Control Theory with Time Delay.

Abstract

The report deals with the discrete optimal control problem with time delay. Unlike the usual control problem, the time-delay problem has dynamics and possibly also objective criterion as functions of past states and past control actions. Throughout the thesis, dynamic programming is used as the basic tool of optimization.
