Aspects of Department of the Army Repair Parts Financing.

Abstract

The study examines whether or not consumable Army repair parts should be issued to ultimate users on a reimbursable basis. Indications are that ultimate users frequently lack sufficient funds to obtain necessary repair parts. Army Regulations prescribing repair parts stock control and funding were examined in detail. Personnel familiar with the procedures were questioned in detail. (Modified author abstract)
