Placing Dynamics into Career Management at Higher Levels of the Officer Corps.

Abstract

The study deals with officers, who majors, lieutenant colonels, and junior colonels. The paper will show that within these ranks, there are some specific and important officer management problems, which, in turn, impact upon the officer personnel management of the next lower group, in terms of assignments and career image. Because this subject is so personal and people oriented, the primary input of data was from personal interviews. Official publications and other pertinent documents were used in a supporting role.
