Interaction Between Perfluoroalkyl Polyether Linear and Cyclic Derivative Fluids and High Temperature Bearing Steels in Oxidation Corrosion Environment

Abstract

This report describes the interaction between perfluoroalkyl polyether linear and cyclic derivative fluids and a high temperature bearing steel, WD-65, among others, studied in a laboratory oxidation-corrosion environment. Temperature ranges of 500F to 700F were covered by this investigation.
