Effect of Converted Isometric Transition in (125m)Te on the Emission Spectra of Mossbauer Gamma-Quanta in a Number of Tellurium Compounds.

Abstract

New sources for nuclear gamma-resonance experiments with 125Te were tested. Beta-((125m)Te)O3 was found to have a recoilless fraction of gamma-rays double that of Pb((125m)Te) or 125Sb in a Cu-matrix. H6((126m)Te)O6 and Na2H4 ((125m)Te) O6 sources yielded abnormal forms of emission spectra, which were interpreted in terms of 'hot atoms' chemistry. (Author)
