Abstract

The report contains an analysis and evaluation of the Expeditionary Logistics Facility (ELP) for comparison with and possible incorporation into the Container Discharge Facility development program. The purpose of the report is to analyze, compare, and evaluate the various proposed solutions for the effective unloading and over-the-beach transfer of containerized cargo, with particular reference to the alternatives developed for ELF by the Department of the Navy.
