Propellant Improvement Program. Volume 4. UDMH/Silicone Oil Studies.

Abstract

The suitability of Silicone Oil, SF-96-5, as an additive to UDMH has been demonstrated through a series of tests. A spectrophotometric method of analysis for Silicone Oil has been certified with statistical analysis, and modification of existing gas chromatographic procedures for the other ingredients of the fuel blend are discussed. The final procedures are ready for incorporation in a procurement specification. (Modified author abstract)
