The fabrication and electro-optical properties of large area sintered photoconductors particularly suited to electrolytic photography are described in detail. The electro-optical properties of sintered photoconductors and conventional resin embedded types are compared. Possible applications of this sintered layer to low light level photography, and to sandwich type image intensifier panels are briefly mentioned. (Modified author abstract)
