Abstract

Karl von Clausewitz's treatise On War, long recognized as his most profound work and the first study to reflect a pattern of thought on war, has been studied for appropriate review and analysis. Clausewitz's impact on the experience with war of the two major nuclear powers is additionally examined. (Modified author abstract)
