Why the United States Failed to Join the League of Nations.

Abstract

The study presents a brief review of the opinions and positions held by President Woodrow Wilson and the United States Senate concerning US participation in the League of Nations. A general background presentation of Wilson is included because it is necessary if one is to understand his basic motives and feelings. The author has attempted to present only the major contentions and considerations and has submitted a conclusion which results from personal analysis. (Modified author abstract)
