Device for Charging Aerosols,

Abstract

The invention relates to equipment for increasing the uniformity of deposition of aerosols used mainly for disinfection; this increase is brought about by using electrostatic forces for the depositon of particles of chemicals. The device is distinguished by the fact that in order to reduce mutual shielding of the electrodes, a grounded metal plate with openings coaxial with the electrodes is installed behind them. The corona electrodes are made in the form of needles and the plate is located in the plane of their points.
