Development of a P/M Line Sensor

Abstract

The report describes advanced development of a plated wire line sensor. The sensor consists of a transducer (50-meter length), a battery pack, sensor electronics, and an interconnect cable to link the battery pack with the sensor electronics. One transducer has been evaluated in a field situation with good results for the stage of development. Five models were constructed and delivered for Air Force evaluation.
