Evaluation of the Root-Mean-Square Value for the Pulsations of a Concentration of a Nonconservative Impurity in the Wake behind a Body,

Abstract

The report examines an axisymmetric distant turbulent wake behind a body which has gas with a low reactive impurity content flowing around it. Paragraph 1 derives and closes semiempirically the equations of balance for the rms value of impurity pulsations. Paragraph 2, using the intergral method, reduces the problem to a system of ordinary differential equations. Paragraph 3 presents the results of calculating the parameters of the wake behind a body around which argon is flowing.
