Experimental and Theoretical Investigations of Artificial Crystallization and Dispersal of Supercooled Clouds,

Abstract

Studied during experiments were features of the propagation of artificial crystallization in supercooled stratified clouds depending on the parameters of the clouds, conditions of their formation, the procedure for introduction of the reagent, and the norm of the seeding. Besides the number of parameters of the clouds and the state of the atmosphere, the width of the zone of crystallization at point in time after seeding was measured. Experiments on the study of microphysical processes and temperature conditions in the zone of crystallization were conducted.
