Microwave Oven Radiations: Information Paper.

Abstract

There is concern about possible health hazards from the operation of microwave ovens in aircraft, particularly to persons wearing a heart pacing device. While certain magazine articles and periodicals have warned of possible hazards, knowledgeable personnel generally minimized the concern. This paper discusses microwave oven radiations and includes guidance on engineering evaluation of aircraft microwave oven installations.
