Evaluation of Runway Skid-Resistance Characteristic at Royal Air Force Upper Heyford, England.
Abstract
Data gathered during the Air Force Weapons Laboratory (AFWL) standard skid-resistance test conducted at Royal Air Force Upper Heyford, England, on 22 November 1972, are analyzed. Test results indicate the runway surface had good skid-resistance properties and no corrective action was indicated at the time of the test. (Author)
