Paramilitary Forces in Greece, 1946-1949

Abstract

The study examines the role and value of paramilitary forces in Greece during the civil war between 1946 and 1949. The organization, equipment, training, and techniques of both the insurgent and Greek government paramilitary forces are described and analyzed.
