Defection: A Military Strategy for Wars of Liberation

Abstract

The study examines whether the losses through defection are indicative of a major weakness of the Communists in wars of liberation; also, whether the United States policy, supporting doctrine and techniques, fixed responsibility and general acceptance of an induced defection strategy.
