Analysis of the Effectiveness of Electrostatic Shielding in an Absolute Gravimeter,
Abstract
A preliminary analysis and experiments have shown that electrostatic forces cause a considerable (up to several tens of milligals) error of an absolute gravimeter. Therefore, in the design of a gravimeter the electrostatic shielding of its internal cavity was envisioned.
