Application of ADP to Military Health Records.
Abstract
The study examines the possible use of computers and a medical information system to maintain medical records. Problems with the current manual records are reviewed. The feasibility of computerization, in view of the state of the art, is examined and, in general terms, the equipment and personnel needs are considered. Improvement in the medical record and advantages to medical care, teaching and research are discussed. (Modified author abstract)
