Adaptation of Advanced Measurement and Evaluation Techniques for Utilization in Air Force Technical Training Systems.

Abstract

The multidimensional scaling and cluster analytic techniques were investigated as methods for providing a needed integrating framework within the course development and training evaluation context. Additionally, the relative merit was investigated of various advanced (novel) testing methods in the technical training context. The multidimensional and the cluster analytic techniques were held to provide the needed integrating thread and the advanced testing methods were indicated to possess advantage over the usual multiple choice examination.
