Tectonics of the Bering Sea Floor (Tektonika dna Beringova Morya),
Abstract
The structure of the earth's crust in the Bering Sea is considered on the basis of a complex analysis of the available geologic-geophysical data. A structural chart of this area has been compiled, and conclusions have been drawn on the tectonics of the Dezhnev platform (the Eastern Bering Sea shelf) and about the prospects for the search for oil and gas in shelf areas of the sea.
