Poly(Ethylene Carbonate) and Poly(Propylene Carbonate): Transitions and Thermomechanical Spectra.

Abstract

The transitions and thermomechanical spectra (1 cps) of amorphous poly(ethylene carbonate), amorphous poly(propylene carbonate) and their 1/1 blend, as measured by torsional braid analysis, are reported. The blend is a two phase mixture rather than a solution. Influence of intra and inter molecular factors on the transitions is discussed. (Modified author abstract)
