Selected Material from Soviet Technical Literature, October 1973

Abstract

The report includes abstracts and bibliographical lists on contractual subjects that were completed in October, 1973. The major topics ARE: laser technology, effects of strong explosions, geosciences, particle beams, and material sciences. A section on items of miscellaneous interest is included as an optional topic; material on geomagnetic pulsations is to be abatracted in a separate report. Laser coverage is generally limited to high power effects; all current material is routinely entered in the quarterly laser bibliographies. An index identifying source abbreviations and a first-author index to the abstracts are appended.
