Evaluation of Runway Skid-Resistance Characteristic at Grand Forks AFB, North Dakota.

Abstract

Data gathered during the Air Force Weapons Laboratory standard skid-resistance test conducted at Grand Forks AFB, ND, on 17 October 1972 are analyzed. The test results indicate the runway surface had fair skid-resistance properties at the time of the test. Rubber removal was required at both the 17 and 35 ends of the runway. (Author)
