Evaluation of Runway Skid-Resistance Characteristic at Royal Air Force Lakenheath, England.
Abstract
Data gathered during the Air Force Weapons Laboratory's standard skid-resistance test conducted at Royal Air Force Lakenheath, England, on 28 November 1972 are analyzed. Test results indicate the porous friction surface at Royal Air Force Lakenheath had good skid-resistance properties, and no corrective action was indicated at the time of the test. (Author)
