The Software Implementation of Tactical System Hardware Functions.
Abstract
The report is a dissertation on the software implementation of some typical logic hardware functions found in tactical systems employing special and general purpose processing equipments. Specifically, some Radar Mortar Locating and Circuit Quality Monitoring equipment functions were analyzed. The analysis was performed in order to explore the possibilities of expanding the use of general purpose digital computers in future equipment developments in these areas and to evaluate alternative implementation approaches.
