Pakistan After Ayub: The Need for Re-Evaluation of United States Policy.

Abstract

The essay examines and evaluates the current status of the Republic of Pakistan with reference to the future foreign policy of the United States in South Asia. Included in the study is a review of our past relations with Pakistan, the causes underlying the collapse of its constitutional government in 1969, and a forecast of the probable effect thereof on its position as a key power in Asia.
