Minuteman 1970-1980.

Abstract

The study examines the units of the Army Reserve Components in military planning and strategy projected into the 1970 - 1980 timeframe. Conclusions are reached on improving the readiness capability through changes in the USAR and ARNG troop unit tables of organization to provide pay-drill slots to officer students who will rotate under the direction of major unit headquarters career management program, thereby eliminating the need to rely extensively on other sources of trained manpower and providing an effective force in time of war or national emergency.
