The Case for an Orbital Bomb.

Abstract

The essay examines arguments supporting and rejecting the deployment of an orbital weapons system. Review of the literature reveals that a great numer of military and political leaders throughout the world publicly reject the deployment of such a weapons system. More careful analysis of their speeches and articles reveals that their logical arguments are very few. Almost no authority today publicly supports the deployment of an orbiting bomb. The arguments supporting such a weapons system are nevertheless just as persuasive as those rejecting the system. (Modified author abstract)
