Abstract
The purpose of this symposium was to afford scientists and engineers of the free world an opportunity to assemble and exchange technical information in a field of common interest; namely, gun propellant technology. More than 200 scientists and engineers from all parts of the world participated in this international symposium. All papers which were presented are published in the report.
