Computer Simulation of Multivariate Normal Vectors Applied to the Reliability of Spectral-Based Calculations.

Abstract

A set of computer subroutines are presented which enable the coastal engineer and scientist to develop by computer simulation probability intervals for computational results based on wave spectral density estimates or on the fast Fourier transform coefficients based on ocean wave data. Computer subroutines are written in American National Standards Institute (ANSI) FORTRAN which is usable on the vast majority of computers. (Author)
