Scatterable Antipersonnel Mine Test Data Summary

Abstract

The Scatterable Antipersonnel Mine Test was conducted at Fort Hood, Texas, from 24 September to 5 October 1973. The test was conducted to collect data on the detectability of tripwires. Resulting data tables were used in a computer simulation on tripwire effectiveness. The test provided information on some effective tripwire countermeasures.
