Broadband Transmitter Tube.
Abstract
Cold test data was taken for the Ku-Band figure 8 circuit structure. Impedance, phase velocity and dielectric loading factor were measured. Dual beam electron gun design studies were performed. An electrolytic tank was used to determine the initial gun design. Electron trajectories along with beam characteristics were evaluated using a digital computer program. (Author)
