Investigation of Distribution Recovery Techniques.

Abstract

In the report, the general problem of estimating the underlying probability density function of an unknown distribution, given a random sample of observations, is investigated. Specific emphasis is placed on the one-dimensional or univariate case; however, recommendations are made as to how the n-dimensional case might be approached.
