RF Transistorized Preamplifier.

Abstract

The report covers the design, development, and testing of a matched pair of RF Transistorized Preamplifiers. The amplifiers operate over the 3.1 to 3.6 GHz frequency range and are intended for use with the Wideband Pulse Compression Radar located at the Floyd Test Facility. Of major significance are the 500 MHz bandwidth, improved operational stability, the ability to accept high level input signals, and parameter linearity sufficient to insure 40 dB side lobe suppression.
