Evaluation of Runway Skid-Resistance Characteristic at Royal Air Force Alconbury, England.
Abstract
The data collected during the Air Force Weapons Laboratory's standard skid-resistance test conducted at Royal Air Force Alconbury, England on 20 November 1972 are analyzed. The test results indicate the porous friction surface at Royal Air Force Alconbury had good skid-resistance properties, and no corrective action was indicated at the time of the test. (Author)
