Ultra-Stable Microwave Cavity.

Abstract

The report covers the development of a stable fundamental microwave source designed for tuning between 4.4 to 5.0 GHz with a tuning accuracy of better than plus or minus kHz. The stability, tunability, and tuning accuracy are derived from a low expansion, tunable, titanium silicate glass TE sub 011 mode cavity. (Author)
