Calculated Absorption Coefficients for DF Laser Frequencies

Abstract

The report presents calculations of DF laser absoprtion coefficients for the Mid-Latitude Summer sea level atmospheric model. The individual gases which cause the absorption at each laser wavelength are identified. Results are compared with those previously published by R. A. McClatchey. The calculated results are being used to guide the experimental measurement program.
