This is a report on a specialist conference on magnetic bubble technology. The material dealt with covers the device requirements of materials - substrates and epilayers; growth techniques - liquid plane epitaxy (LPE), chemical vapor deposition (CVD), and hydrothermal (also including amorphous films); physical characterization and technology.
