Transverse Electric Scattering from Loaded Strips.

Abstract

A theory is developed for the transverse electric analysis of two dimensional strips which are vanishingly thin and perfectly conducting, both with contiguous edge loading and with loaded strips separated from the perfectly conducting center strip. Integral equations for the above geometries and for thin rectangular cylinders are formulated and solved numerically for the currents on the bodies. The scattered fields and monostatic radar cross sections are calculated from the currents. Numerical data are presented as is a limited parameter study. (Author)
