Abstract
On 21-23 July 1970, the Air Force Weapons Laboratory sponsored a symposium on protective structures technology to commemorate Eric H. Wang. This report contains the addresses and papers presented at the symposium. The papers reflect the state of the art in the areas of airblast interaction, material properties, ground motions, structure-media interaction and structural response, and cratering and simulation as they relate to nuclear explosions. Broad topics discussed in volume two include the following topics: Structural media interaction and structural response; and cratering and simulation.
