An All-Volunteer Army: Problem or Opportunity.

Abstract

The purpose of the paper is to evaluate the concept of an all-volunteer Army. The evaluation is made in view of current national security requirements, the apparent restructuring of national priorities now in progress, and the inherent concept of civilian control over the military. (Author)
