Planform Input Generator (PING), a NASTRAN Pre-Processor for Lifting Surfaces-Theoretical Development.

Abstract

A Planform Input Generator (PING) is presented in the report. It is a pre-processor for NASTRAN analyses of lifting surfaces. Using PING, a finite element model can be automatically generated and NASTRAN bulk data cards punched, thus enabling a complicated structure to be accurately and rapidly analyzed. The report presents only the theoretical development of the pre-processor. (Author)
