A Synchronizing Circuit for PAM Decommutation,

Abstract

The circuits described in this report were designed and constructed to improve an existing system for decoding pulse amplitude modulated (PAM) commutation. The design of a frame sync detector and a sample aperture generator which are adjusted automatically by a phase-locked loop clock to accommodate any standard IRIG PAM format is covered.
