An Examination of the Relationship of Wear to the Initial State of Wear in a Cannon Tube.
Abstract
Models are developed for analyzing the changing pattern of wear/round throughout the wear life of cannon tubes. Graphical methods are used to illustrate the ability of these models to fit existing test firing data obtained from several modern weapon systems. (Author)
