Nation Building Programs: The Counter to Subversive Insurgency.

Abstract

The study proposes that nation building programs, based upon an interdepartmental advisory effort, and focused toward single-manager type projection to the lower government levels in a client country, can offer an effective counter to subversive insurgency. The meaning and need for nation building are examined. Principles of nation building are offered for consideration. A concept for application of nation-building is proposed.
